The Gift of Music in the Liturgy: The Role of Singing in Communion

Fr. Jim McKearney will speak on:
"The Gift of Music in the Liturgy: The Role of Singing in Communion,” and how music leads the community to Jesus in the pinnacle moment in the Liturgy: the reception of Holy Communion. He will address the need for full, conscious, and active participation in the Liturgy, and music is a key instrument in making that happen.

This event is offered in person and by livestream @ theshrine.org.  Those attending in person can join us in the main church at 10am (between the 9am and 11:30am Masses) on Sunday December 13.

Fr. Bud Stevens

Please join us for First Friday Liturgy, a Mass service followed by a Novena to the Sacred Heart of Jesus, plus a special speaking session by Father Bud Stevens.  Attend in person in the main church for both Mass and the session, or attend both via livestream!

Mass: 6:30pm / Speaking Session: 7:00 - 8:00 pm
