The Shrine has a beautiful collection of stained glass windows that grace every wall of our church. The windows were designed and installed by New York artisans from John Morgan and Sons Inc shortly after the 1917 dedication of the new Church. They were fully restored in the Great Jubilee Year of 2000 by Conrad-Schmidt Studios of Milwaukee.
The stained glass window above the main altar (and the first image below), appropriately depicts Jesus revealing His Sacred Heart to Saint Margaret Mary Alocoque. The artisans also cleverly incorporated the faces of some of the children of the parish into the winged cherubs.
This below gallery shows most, but not all, of the stained glass windows that you can discover by visiting us! Click the images to scroll through, see the thumbnails below to browse, and use the Expand Gallery option to view these even larger on your screen. We hope you take as much delight in viewing these as we do each week at Mass!
