Annual Appeal for Catholic Ministries

This weekend begins the Archdiocese’s Annual Appeal for Catholic Ministries.  I know many of you give generously to the Shrine on a weekly basis and have generously given for special occasions such as the Undercroft Restoration.  The Archdiocese Annual Appeal supports Parishes and their ministries, both youth and adults; it supports charitable outreach programs such as the Apostleship of the Sea, Our Daily Bread, and other Catholic Charities; it supports clergy care and vocations.  It’s also important to note, that a certain percentage of our donations come directly back to the Shrine as a rebate to use here for our ministry programs.  There will be the Annual Appeal pamphlets in the pews next weekend, and those registered parishioners should be receiving information in the mail as well.  if you can make a donation, whatever amount that may be, please consider doing so.  No amount is too small, and every little bit helps.
