On the Feast of the Epiphany, which celebrates the spiritual meaning of the birth of Jesus for the Christian community, we will be joined by Imam Mohamad Bashar Arafat, who will bring the greetings and prayers of the Maryland Muslim community for our community as we mark the conclusion of our Christmas celebration. 

Imam Bashar will join us for the 11:30 Mass and will speak at a reception after Mass on the esteem and respect that Islam and the Q'uaran have for Jesus and his mother Mary.  This occasion will be a wonderful opportunity to learn more about this and to continue to building better understanding between our religious communities.

Sunday Speaker Series

Join us for a special luncheon and talk by Tom May of the Walters Museum.  This talk will be in conjunction with a special exhibition at the Walters Museum, where the Missal from the altar of the church of San Nicolo in Assisi will be on display this Spring.

The Shrine's Nativity Play will be hosting a spaghetti lunch fundraiser after the 11:30 AM Mass on November 17th.  This will be a good opportunity to fellowship with other Shrine parishioners and help raise funds for the Shrine's Nativity Play this holiday season!

Please join us after the 11:30 parish memorial Mass on Sunday, November 3 for a fellowship luncheon and presentation, as we honor parishioners and other loved ones who have died in the past year.  The Shrine's own Leo White, Professor of Philosophy at Morgan St. University, will speak to us about the hope of eternal life that is ours in Christ.
